ProSSH does not collect, sell, or share your data. No analytics. No tracking. No telemetry. Your business is your business.
Where Your Data Lives
- Hosts, groups, and key metadata are stored locally on your device.
- Private SSH keys and saved passwords are stored in the iOS Keychain — the same secure storage your device uses for Apple Pay.
- Trusted host keys live in a local known_hosts file, just like OpenSSH.
- Downloaded files go to the app's Documents folder. You own them.
Network Connections
ProSSH connects directly to the servers you specify. We don't proxy, inspect, or log your traffic. We couldn't even if we wanted to — there's no server on our end.
Security
- Secure Enclave keys supported — your private key never leaves the chip.
- Face ID / Touch ID to unlock saved passwords.
- Passphrase-protected keys use PBKDF2 with 600,000 iterations.
